Rivers State Accelerating Strategies for Practical Innovation, Research and Economic Strengthening Project (ASPIRE)

Rhema Care Integrated Development Center under the Rivers State Accelerating Strategies for Practical Innovation, Research and Economic Strengthening Project (ASPIRE) is providing need-based services under the four basic Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) service domains of safe, schooled, stable and healthy. Rhema Care Integrated Development Center (Rhema) is partnering with the Incorporated Trustee of Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organization (WEWE) in accordance with PEPFAR guidelines on OVC Programming to provide services to 19,078 (7,800 Males and 11,278 females) active beneficiaries transitioned from The Action to Control HIV Epidemic Through Evidence (ACHIEVE) Project to Accelerating Strategies for Practical Innovation, Research and Economic Strengthening Project (ASPIRE).

Rhema Care Integrated Development Center (Rhema CAre) is ensuring that:

  1. Quality services are provided to 19,078 (7,800 Males and 11,278 females) active beneficiaries based on needs.
  2. Collaborate with the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria (IHVN) ASPIRE facilities in Obiakpor and Eche, LGAs to enroll outstanding Children Living with HIV (C/ALHIV) who are on treatment current and document accordingly.
  3. All 892 C/ALHIV enrolled in OVC are retained in care without any interrupted in treatment.
  4. All 892 C/ALHIV have regular and updated viral load uptake and follow up to ensure that their results are released and documented.
  5. Work with the number of Community Volunteers contained in the attached budget to reach out and provide home visit to all these beneficiaries at least once every month and on weekly basis to C/ALHIV.
  6. Work with the Community Volunteers to provide Community Enhanced Adherence Counselling to C/ALHIV that are virally unsuppressed.
