On the 1st of February, 2024 Rhema Care team on P-FIM assessment, carried out an Advocacy visit to the Chairman of Kurmi LGA. Hon. Moses Maihankhali.
During the visit, Rhema Care advocated for the introduction of monthly sanitation in addressing the huge challenge of solid waste management in Kurmi as well as make available trucks and designated locations for proper disposal of solid waste.
The chairman while applauding Rhema Care for the good job done so far in Kurmi and other locations in Taraba State, showed his commitments by stating that efforts are already in place in addressing the issues on solid waste management in Kurmi.
He further assured Rhema Care that he will always be available to provide support in promoting personal and environmental hygiene for the people of Kurmi including the Cameroonian refugees.
